NFL 08 - Torry Holt - SL Rams

Torry Jabar Holt nicknamed "Big Game" is an NFL wide receiver who currently plays for the St. Louis Rams (#88). Holt was the sixth overall draft pick in the 1999 NFL draft and the first selection made by the St. Louis Rams. In his rookie season he posted 53 receptions, 788 total yards and six touchdowns on the way to the Super Bowl XXXIV championship. Since then Holt has consistently reached at least 1,300 yards every season through 2005. He in fact is the only Receiver in NFL history to post six consecutive years of 1,300 yards receiving; not even the great Jerry Rice obtained that goal. Holt's streak was broken in 2006, due to injuries to himself and other teammates that hindered the offense for parts of the year. Holt came into the NFL as number 88, but in 2001 changed is number to 81 as it still stands today. Sold as eaches.
